Primos’ concept was born from the dream of two actual “Primos” (cousins), born and raised in different countries, who believe that connecting cultures can broaden horizons and elevate people’s awareness of the world.

Our vision is to become the premier Mexican wine importer in the US, opening never before explored markets and introducing innovative and exciting products to the U.S. consumers.

Max Strygler

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Max is a Mexican entrepreneur strongly committed to his roots. After obtaining a College degree in Business Administration from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City, he earned an MBA degree from St. Josephs College in New York. He is also certified as a Cicerone and Sommelier by “The Sommelier Society of America”.

With more than 10 years of experience in the alcohol industry, he has worked for Manhattan Beer Distributors, the largest single market beer distributor in the United States based in New York and for Constellation Brands, one of the largest and most influential alcohol importation companies of the world.

He is co-founder and Director of Operations at Primos Imports, a New York based alcoholic importation company. His goal is to proudly share Mexico’s culture through its high-quality products.

Alex Bergson

ADMINISTRATIVE DIRECTOR

Alex has been working in alcohol distribution professionaly since 2014, but you could say he’s been at it since birth. His family started and operates Manhattan Beer Distributors, the largest single market beer distributor in the United States. After getting his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in 2014, Alex officially joined the family business. Since then, he’s been focused on finding new products and segments for expansion. Alex is excited about the opportunity to bring new tastes and experiences to the discerning US costumer.

Yair Geller

DIRECTOR OF SALES

Sharing some of the wonders Mexico can offer to the world is one of Yair’s passions. So venturing professionally into the incredible variety of Mexican alcoholic beverages, was an easy decision for him.
Following his passion, as a co-owner of Rompe Corazón mezcal, Yair is determined to grow Mexican alcoholic product’s recognition world wide.
Originally from Mexico City, Yair earned his degree in Business Administration at the Universidad Latinoamericana, and as a proud Mexican, he is involved with Mexican organizations devoted to help women and children from under privileged indigenous backgrounds.
As Primos Import’s Sales Director in Miami, you can easily find him exploring the vast culinary landscape, getting wine and spirits products on restaurants and liquor stores shelves, through great service and strong and lasting relationships with clients.
